Great work on revival compilations. I collect the same kind of stuff myself.
Also, thanks for including my groups' record("A Way With Words" Bruce & The Heartbreaks). If you have time check out "We're Doin' Doowops"Frankie & The Fashions and "Starlight Starbright"West Side Boys. I wrote both songs.

Im only 17 years old but i would have given anything to have lived in the 50's the golden age, of cars, greasers, and rock'n roll. im jealous of anyone who lived back then, and i thank you for posting this blog with this amazing music. We need to revive Rock and Roll get the people of today seeing how awesome this music is, we need another King and we need him today.

antes de nada felicitarte por tu labor, he visto varias cosas tuyas en la red y me han parecido muy interesantes.
Por otro lado, vi en alguna parte que pedías de traducción de un "rockillo" de la Trinca de los 60, si todavía estás interesado, me lo comunicas a uno de mis mails: viagest@hotmail.com y te la mando (todo por el rock y por el català), sinó nada, puedes borrar el mensaje porque en realidad no es un post, pero no sabía como ponerme en contacto contigo. Hello BRUCE. I thought I'd tell you I've liked your song on Doo Wopin All Over The World (great tracks on the cd). I know it's a demo, but as I (and others) already had Bring Back Those Oldies it's been a surprise to me, a nice one and an appreciated RARITY!

Aside from having to recall the CDs
from Engel I am suing him and have received from him a death threat.
I am presently working with Bubblegum stars Kasenetz-Katz on a new pop production but will resume doin' doowops in 2010 for labels outside of Crystal Ball Records.

Muchas gracias por esta gran colección de música, es muy difícil de conseguir, ni siquiera se oye en las emisoras de radio .
Well alot has happened since I last checked in. Sad to say Ed Engel has died. Though we had our differences I will always be grateful to Ed for his work with modern groups.
This is the best doowop site on line. Keep up the great work.
