The best post ever on a blog full of SPECTACULAR posts, and no DL link? What a bummer!

But thank you for all the other great stuff you have shared over the years.

BIG DADDY - Meanwhile Back In The States:

1. I Want To Know What Love Is (Jones)
As did Ritchie Valens, it appears
2. Always On My Mind (Christopher-Thompson-James)
Boppers don't come any bigger than this
3. Sussudio (Collins)
And "Runaround" Sussudio at that
4. Dancing In The Dark (Springsteen)
Pat Boone takes one more trip to the Moody River
5. I Just Called To Say I Love You (Wonder)
You'll know it's me because of the Whispering Bells
6. Billie Jean (Jackson)
Gene Vincent struts his stuff, and Booker T. helps
7. Flashdance (Forsey-Cara-Moroder)
With those little darlin's, the Diamonds
8. Jump (Van Halen-Roth-Anthony-Van Halen)
You might as well have the Summertime Blues
9. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Hazard)
The Duchess of Earl gets her say
10. The Safety Dance (Ivan)
Who would have thought it was the Twist?
11. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me (Hay-Moss-Craig-O'Dowd)
By now, there has to be one a cappella song per album
12. Every Breath You Take (Sting)
A sort of make-believe Conway Twitty
13. Purple Rain (Prince)
Rain that's real will not fade away
14. All Night Long (Richie)
Stranded in the shake, rattle and roll

Hi Emiliano:

Thank you for being a Big Daddy fan. Your encouragement over the years motivated us to plan the new album: "Smashing Songs Of Stage And Screen."

The opportunity to fund our comeback album is by way of Kickstarter.com, a web-based platform for creative projects. While nowadays, record companies do not sign specialty acts such as ours, a successful Kickstarter campaign will allow us to bring our music directly to you, our fans.

Through your generosity, we have reached $23,000! However, our Kickstarter goal of $35,000 must be reached by tomorrow (Sunday) at 7 PM PACIFIC TIME or all of the pledges will be returned to the backers.

Our new CD is available to pre-order on the Kickstarter site, along with "rewards" for different levels of giving. The information is also covered in a recent L.A. Times feature article on us. Our official website contains other info. on the band along with full versions of most of our past recordings. There's also a fun video of us to watch on the Kickstarter site and recent special offers under “updates” at the top of the page. See the three links below…

Should you want to participate, or consider a new reward level if you already have, GREAT! If not, please consider helping us spread the word during this last push, it would be deeply appreciated.

Below are links to Kickstarter, our website, and the L.A. Times Article mentioned above.
