If you're still working on a comp like this, the King Khan and BBQ Show (as well as member Mark Sultan) have a good deal of songs with a doo-wop influence/sound. If you're looking for something that shows a more direct influence or link to the 50s, though, compare their song "Love You So" (link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb_dmI0lCKI) with the Revels' "False Alarm" (link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQcuVyQuCMU).
