P.S. In the 50’s Rock And Roll became a new life-style for teenagers all over the world, and soon their enemies tried -in vain- to criminalise, ridicule and knock it down, that’s why rock’n’rollers had to defend, explain and praise their new music and their “rocking” way to have fun, be rebellious, and promote their own slang and cool style. All that was immortalized on a lot of song lyrics of the era. Here are some of those recordings (along with small parts of their lyrics). Several of these songs have become authentic rock and roll anthems.
